Rhonda Osisek M.S., CCC-SLP

Liz received her Bachelors (’95) degree in Spanish Language and Literacy
with a concentration area in secondary education from University of Mary
Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She received her Masters (’98)
degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Old Dominion University in
Norfolk, Virginia.  She performed her clinical practicum training at the
Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic at ODU’s Child Study Center. Liz
completed her clinical internships at Harbour Pointe Medical and
Rehabilitation Centre and at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters.
Her post-graduate education includes courses in assessment of bilingual
language learners, hearing impairment and cochlear implants, assistive
technology, literacy, fluency disorders, autism, apraxia, central auditory
processing disorders, and pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders.  She
holds two Awards for Continuing Education presented by the Continuing
Education Board of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association in
March 2004 and May 2006. Liz formerly was Supervisor of Speech-Language
Pathology at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters.


Liz is a licensed Speech–Language Pathologist in the Commonwealth of
Virginia and a Certified Member of the American Speech-Language and
Hearing Association. She is a member of the Speech-Language Hearing
Association of Virginia. Liz has a special interest in working with bilingual
children/English Language Learners, pediatric language delays and
disorders, and pediatric articulation delays and disorders. She has
experience treating communication disorders in various pediatric
populations including patients with autism, aphasia, ADHD, ADD,
developmental delay, visual impairment, hearing impairment, mental
retardation, pervasive development disorder, apraxia, dysarthria,
traumatic brain injury, cleft palate, articulation delay, language delay,
voice disorders, and fluency disorders.
Rhonda Roberts Osisek M.S., CCC-SLP is the owner and director of
Atlantic Speech Therapy, LLC, a private practice that provides speech
-
communication impairments.  Services are offered in many private
schools in the area or in an outpatient office setting.

Raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Rhonda received her Bachelors (’97)
and Masters (’00) degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Old
Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.  She performed her clinical
practicum training at the Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic at ODU’s
Child Study Center.  Rhonda completed her clinical internships at
Norfolk General Hospital and in private practice.  Her post-graduate
education includes courses in central auditory processing disorders,
pediatric feeding and swallowing, fluency disorders, and sensory
integration training.  Rhonda formerly was Director of Speech-Language
Pathology at Shore Memorial Hospital.  She also worked as a Speech-
Language Pathologist for the Virginia Beach City Public Schools.  In
2004, Rhonda developed one of the first local “Social Skills Group” for
children with pragmatic language delays.  She, along with her colleagues,
continues to run the social skills groups that have grown to include pre-
school children, school age children, and adolescents.


Rhonda is a licensed Speech–Language Pathologist in the Commonwealth

and Hearing Association.  Rhonda has a special interest in working with

a certified Beckman Oral Motor therapist and she is trained in the
Kaufman Method for apraxia of speech.
Elizabeth Williams M.S., CCC-SLP
Brittany Smith M.S. Ed, SLPA

Brittany Braithwaite Smith M.S.Ed, SLPA is the Practice Manager of
Atlantic Speech Therapy, LLC
and the Director of Education Services.  
Raised in Virginia Beach, Brittany received her Bachelors degree in Speech-
Language Pathology (97) and Master's degree in Special Education (99) from
Old Dominion University.  Brittany holds a Postgraduate Virginia Teaching
License in Special Education with endorsements in Learning Disabilities,
Mental Retardation, and Emotional Disturbance.  Her dual certifications
in the areas of Speech-Language Pathology and Special Education bring
tremendous experience and knowledge to our practice.  

Brittany’s experience as a special education teacher includes instructing a
Communication Disorder classroom as well as instructing children with
Learning Disabilities, Mental Retardation, Emotional Disturbance, and
Autism.   Brittany also conducted language groups for special education
preschool in her role as a Speech Therapist for the Wasatch County Public
Schools. Brittany treated children with articulation and language
disorders as a Speech Therapist for the Virginia Beach City Public Schools.  

Brittany has served as the chairperson for the Student Support Team, and
the 504 and Special Education Committees in the school system.  She has
served as case manager for children at St.Mary’s Infant Home and
Sotheastern Virginia Cooperative Education Program.
